We have very competitive rates with our carriers due to the volume of orders we ship through the platform. Rates vary based on:
- The number of items in the order
- The weight of the items in the order
- The distance between the shipping warehouse and the consumer’s home
2022 Endless Aisles shipping rates table:
Due to our maximum weight per shipment of 70-lbs, any orders greater than 70-lbs will be shipped in more than one box, and charged additional freight and box fees accordingly. For example, an order that weighs 100-lbs will be charged the freight and box fees for one 70-lb package, plus one 30-lb package.
A "zone" is a geographic classification used by carriers that correlates to the distance between the origin hub and destination ZIP Code of a shipment. Zones range from 2-8. Shipping to a higher zone means you're shipping farther from one of our warehouses and you will be charged a higher rate. We are working on adding additional warehouses to maximize the number of orders falling into the 2-3 shipping zones, thus minimizing your shipping costs.
2022 Shipping Zone Breakdown:
Many eCommerce retailers charge their customers for Shipping & Handling if they do not meet a minimum basket size (usually these minimums end in “$9” or “$5”- e.g. $39, $49, $59.95). This is a useful strategy to help retailers make an appropriate margin on smaller orders.
For orders placed via Special Order, a default shipping cost line of $5.95 will be added to your customer’s basket. You can choose whether to charge this or not via the discount field at checkout.
And as for orders placed via Web Integration, you have full control over what you want to charge for shipping, along with any minimum thresholds. If you have any questions or are uncertain on how to make changes to your shipping rates, please email help@endlessaisles.io and an Endless Aisles Customer Experience Team Member will be happy to assist you!
