If you are creating Special Orders, all transactional e-mails (order confirmation, shipment and tracking notification) will be sent automatically through a Phillips-owned e-mail service provider. This will be a generic, unbranded e-mail, but will include all the details of your store.
For the Web Integration tool, we will send you the tracking number of your orders as soon as they ship. Most eCommerce software can connect to your preferred email service provider and automatically send transactional e-mails.
There are a lot of great email service providers out there, but the most economical ones are:
- MailChimp
- Great for marketing e-mails as well
- SendGrid
- Specialize in transactional e-mails, but also have marketing e-mail capabilities.
