Updating retail prices in your Shopify and Special Ordering portal used to be a hassle... Well, it just got easier! You no longer need multiple spreadsheets and data sources to manage your retail prices. You can now do it all from one central interface! Continue reading this article to learn how to use the improved pricing tool.
1). Log in to your Endless Aisles portal (app.endlessaisles.io/app/login), and go to the Price Control section under “Admin”.
2). Once you click “Price Control”, you will find the complete list of wholesale, MAP, and retail prices for every product in your catalog. Your screen should look like this:
3). If there have been any updates to your catalog since your previous log in, you will see a notification at the top of your screen like this:
4). Each individual product in the list may be selected and adjusted manually by inputting your desired numbers into the retail or margin columns.
5). If you would rather edit products in bulk, simply download the product list by clicking ‘Download CSV’, change the prices in excel, and upload them back to your portal by clicking ‘Upload CSV’. Note, you must keep the column names and order the same when you re-upload, or else you will get an error message.
6). For better insight, you also have the ability to filter your catalog by a specific change in a specified date range. This way you can focus solely on the products that had recent updates, without having to sift through your entire catalog. We recommend doing this 1X per week to review any changes to your catalog.
Please note: To use the filters, you must select both a “filter by” and a “date range”.
If you are only using the Special Ordering portal, your price changes will all update automatically, and no need to continue reading!
If you have a Shopify E-commerce site however, don't forget this last step!
7). It is now easier than ever to sync your price changes with Shopify! When you make changes to your retail prices (either within the interface or via a .csv upload), you will get this notification if you have not yet synced the changes to your Shopify site:
First, click on the white calendar box and select the date of your last price updates.
Next, click the “Sync pricing to Shopify” button, and your prices will begin to update in Shopify automatically. You will get this notification that syncing is in progress:
If there was an error in your Shopify sync, you will get this notification to re-sync:
We recommend making all necessary changes before syncing, as clicking multiple syncs in one session can cause a “blockage” error.
Keep in mind:
- Price changes may take some time to update in Shopify. Updating an entire brand will take a few minutes, and updating your entire catalog will take around an hour to complete.
- Any changes you make in Shopify will automatically update in the price control tool.
