All retailers who partner with Endless Aisles have complete ownership over their own customer data. This strict and rigid policy is clearly defined in Section 6(b) of our Service Agreement. All retailers who work with Endless Aisles must sign this document during onboarding.
This agreement is intended to protect all retailers against unauthorized use of their customer data by Phillips and Endless Aisles. Please consult this summary, which is lifted directly from our service agreement, for full details:
This Section 6(b) establishes the fact that you own all Customer-specific data and information. We may use certain data regarding Customer purchase history/patterns to generate broad market insights and spot trends - but only where such data is anonymous, aggregated and does not identify any Customer individually. We can share that anonymous, aggregate data with third party retailers and brands. We will not directly market to any of your Customers, sell any personally identifying Customer Data to third parties or use any personally identifiable information for any purpose other than Product fulfillment and Platform related functions. As an example of the above, we can use aggregated, anonymous data to inform third party retailers and brands about broad market trends, such as “Five percent of Customers that purchased dog collars in State X purchased head collars.” However, we will not provide any personally identifiable information to third party retailers or brands, such as, “Mrs. Smith lives at 123 Pet Lane and orders ‘ABC’ dog food every four weeks.”
